Long Range Hunting
Ben has over 10 years experience in competitive shooting across 7 different disciplines, 8 years in coaching and 18 years of hunting in Idaho. Experience comes from mentors of law enforcement and military groups as well as achieving the NRA Expert Marksmanship qualification. Ben has translated these skills into long range precision coaching.

Over the course of several years, Ben has taught me the basics to long range shooting with 30-06 and my new 6.5 Creedmoor. He has educated me on what to look for when buying a new gun to get the best accuracy and performance. I now feel comfortable shooting 800 yards with my 6.5 Creedmoor.
As I continue to use the methods that Ben has taught me, I hope to be able to group shots at 1,000 yards.
When shooting with Ben, safety is his #1 priority. This is especially important at the distances we have been shooting, as a lot can interfere when shooting as far as we are.
Ben has also been able to help diagnose issues with my pistol. Upon buying this weapon I assumed that I was the issue. One session with Ben he found that the sights on my firearm came from the factory not sighted in and was able to assist me with dialing it in.
I recommend Ben Moody for any novice shooter. He is patient with questions and can simplify concepts for a novice to understand. I have enjoyed shooting and learning from Ben Moody. He has helped tremendously to where I can now teach others.
